Longtime SUNY ESF Professor Bill Porter to be presented the 2019 Elizabeth Thorndike Adirondack Achievement Award at the Annual Awards Luncheon on May 23, 2019.  Learn More.

Featuring presentation and panel discussions on the Adirondack influences of Ian McHarg's "Design With Nature", now 50-years since first being published, and Protect's recently released report on economic and population trends in rural America and the Adirondacks.  Learn more.

A Poster Author Reception will be May 22, 2019 at 5:00 featuring music, refreshments, and live music!

Ema Johnson  of the American Forest Foundation in Washington will lead a panel discussion on "Engaging Forest Owners, Foresters and Industry to Improve Habitat for Priority Birds in New York".  Ema's panel will include Suzanne Treyger, Audubon, New York; MJ Packer, NY Tree Farm Committee; and, Wayne Majuri, International Paper Ticonderoga.
